CHILD PROTECTION POLICY
We at Christ Lutheran Church believe that each child is a gift from God.
We acknowledge the high value that Jesus placed on children during His earthly ministry.
We are also called by Christ to act with integrity and love in all relationships, and to avoid
the exploitation of all people or the use of positions of power within our church family.
As a result we seek to make all church activities and facilities safe in every way possible,
as it is our responsibility as adults to do all we can to protect all children.
To meet this responsibility, all youth leaders and volunteers who supervise NC Synod events,
undergo a background check and specialized training.
